Track of the Day: 'Berlin Lovers' by Still Corners

Some sparkling new electro-pop from the Sub Pop label. From their second album 'Strange Pleasures' which will be out at the start of May, and full of unashamed '80s influences, this is an effortlessly elegant pop song, straightforward but not simple, short but not too sweet. New music: 'Tattered Line of String' by The Postal Service

There's been loads written about The Postal Service recently since they announced some comeback shows and the tenth anniversary re-issue of their only album to date, 'Give Up', on Sub Pop.

This is one of the extra tracks on the re-issue - it's an upbeat, almost poppy track with a melodic chorus, although it does sound a bit dated. Anyway, give it a listen and see what you think.

Track of the Day - 'Enchantruss' by THEESatisfaction

Fresh new signings to Sub Pop, THEESatisfaction are Stasia Irons and Catherine Harris-White. They met at the University of Washington, and have come together to make music that's a fascinating mix of hip-hop, feminist blaxploitation movies, funk and rap.
